Tim Morrison


After earning his MBA in 2000 from Wake Forest University, Tim joined First Union Bank’s Corporate and Investment Banking Group in Philadelphia where he provided financing to middle market companies.  When First Union and Wachovia merged, Tim transitioned to the Wealth Management area and prepared business valuations as a member of the Closely Held Asset Management Group.  In 2007, Tim became the Senior Manager of Dixon Hughes’ Litigation Support and Valuation practice in Charlotte, NC where he performed valuations for a variety of purposes such as equitable distribution, shareholder disputes, commercial litigation, financial statement reporting and gift/estate tax.  In 2011, Tim joined Wells Fargo and served as the head of the Business Valuation Services Group.

Tim holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.  Tim has been qualified as an expert witness in North Carolina and South Carolina.  Over his career, Tim has performed hundreds of business valuations on companies operating in a wide range of industries.

Tim earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University making him a Double Deacon.  During his undergraduate years, Tim played on the Wake Forest football where he was a four year starter and was named to the 1986 All Atlantic Coast Conference team.
